A Little About Myself
My name is Christa Bronnenberg. My significant other, Sean, and I along with our oldest daughter, Makenna, moved to the area in 2006 when he accepted a teaching position with the Fort Madison Community School District. He teaches 7th and 8th-grade Geography and American History. We now have 4 children; Coralyn, Quinlan, Brynley, and Makenna. We also have a German Shepherd named Nala. I have an Associate in Science in Early Childhood Education and have continued my education to eventually obtain a bachelor's in Elementary Education. I have yet to complete my student teaching, but the timing isn’t right and I would like to enjoy my time with my younger 2 kiddos while trying to keep up with my older 2! I was a preschool teacher at Wonder Years Learning Center for the first 3 years shortly after we moved here. I left the early childhood field for more pay and benefits to work at GRMC and FMCH in the Orthopedic offices. After having Coralyn, knowing she would be our last baby, I decided I would like to have more time with my children. I thought I would try my hand in the early childhood field again and open my own child care. So here I am….I promise to give your children a safe, loving environment to learn and grow!
A Little About My Co-Provider
My name is Linsey Rung. I have worked in childcare for several years. I started at Wonder Years Learning Center in 2014 which switched to Learning Tree Daycare Center in 2017. While there I cared for infants, toddlers, and finished teaching preschool. After that, I started at Richardson Elementary where I worked with children with developmental challenges. After that, I started working for Christa and I am going on my 2nd year. I have enjoyed getting to know all of the kids and watching them all grow up. I am happily married to Travis, we are going on 14 years together, and 7 years married. We live in Fort Madison and share 2 kids Rylee, who is 13 and in 7th grade, and Quinten who just turned 9 and is in 3rd grade, we also have a 1-year-old Mini Goldendoodle Kalani. In my “free” time, I love spending time with family, shopping, going to movies, having BBQs, riding four-wheelers, and anything outside. I promise to help give your children a safe place to learn and grow, and love them like my own!
